F 650 GS, best bike ever.

Back in June I bought a used 2010 F 650 that had only done 4900km. Yesterday I just got back from a 4 week, roughly 12000km ride across Australia and back.

I really love this bike, everything is just really good (except the seat) and it ran perfectly the whole time, even when riding 800-1000km in a day.

The only technical problem I had was for a few minutes one day it flashed a warning light saying "LAMP". I turned it off, turned it on, checked all the lights like the book says and they were all working. It never did it again.

I think I will be keeping the bike for a very long time.

The weather was good except for a few days in tasmania.

I wasnt planning on writing a full report. I just wanted to put some positive comments on here to balance out the negative ones

Agreed, give it a comfy seat and a second front brake disc, it'd be... an F700GS?

Air Hawk sorts the seat out
glad all's well and trip went to plan..........

The air hawk makes an improvement, but it still isnt that good.
I used to ride a Spyder, that with an air hawk was very comfortable.
