F 800 adventure luggage

Bought on of these 6 weeks ago very happy with it. I have a top box on it and was wondering about side boxes. It has frames like a 1200 GSA but not sure if they are the same. I don't think they are. I am interested in luggage and a higher screen if anyone has any experience or ideas. JJH

Metal boxes for the F800 are different in size to the 1200 ones.

The top box will fit, although the top box needs the ADV fitting plate. One of the boxes is the same and one has been reshaped to fit the petrol tank but I can't remember which is which. I think the exhaust pannier is the same.
Good luck with the screen, I've had my bike since they first come out and farm les for them are few and far between. I've been looking for a tall screen and there's no such animal. I'm using the old TT spoiler off the 1200 at the moment.

Thanks for that. What about a 'tank bag' will a standard one fit? I was even thinking of soft saddle bags something that would mount to the hard luggage frames. JJH

I bought a BMW one, standard ones are a pain because of the shape of the " tank " and the position of the ignition switch/power plug.

In retrospect I'd buy the TT bag because I feel the BMW one is not the best design.
