that's the old drain plug 
I have yet to see the "new" drain plug. 
Is it? The bikes 2 weeks old
But if you say so ......
new drain plug is on the bottom of the drive box, so it can be drained without disconnecting the drive & tilting.
that's what it showed in the technical bullitin i saw last year anyway, but no one seems to have actually seen one yet.
