The theory being?
I ask as I have had odd behavior from my X-Challenge similar to the OP, so could your tip be of assistance to me....
I did read about X-C machines running extremely weak, so is a tweek of the ecu program required?
Hi David, I was advised to leave my thumb on the starter button for a couple of seconds after the engine has started as (apparently) this reset something or other..... however this didnt work.
I'll give your suggestion a go on the way home today and see how it goes.
Check the battery terminals are tight or better still disconnect for ten mins then reconnect the battery, as this could reset the ecu, that's presuming that it is not due a service, ie blocked air filter or worn plug
a recent service and the fact that the bike only has less than 2,500 miles under it's belt rules out Biffa's service statement, however disconnecting and reconnecting the battery is a possibility to try..... thanks!
