Just as the title says....

no great shakes, just a minor inconvenience. Any thoughts ?? :nenau

Dan.

Turn on key and leave a few seconds before pushing the starter.....

The theory being?
I ask as I have had odd behavior from my X-Challenge similar to the OP, so could your tip be of assistance to me....:thumb2
I did read about X-C machines running extremely weak, so is a tweek of the ecu program required?

Hi David, I was advised to leave my thumb on the starter button for a couple of seconds after the engine has started as (apparently) this reset something or other..... however this didnt work.

I'll give your suggestion a go on the way home today and see how it goes.

thanks !

Check the battery terminals are tight or better still disconnect for ten mins then reconnect the battery, as this could reset the ecu, that's presuming that it is not due a service, ie blocked air filter or worn plug

a recent service and the fact that the bike only has less than 2,500 miles under it's belt rules out Biffa's service statement, however disconnecting and reconnecting the battery is a possibility to try..... thanks!
