F650gs Dakar Restrictor 05 model

Looking to get the throttle restrictor for my bike, in Ireland there is no need for a cert just have to have bike restricted, so as i am flat broke and out of work i dont want to pay some lad 330quid just put a single part in.

where can you buy the kit or does anyone have the BMW part number.

have not looked at my own throttle mount yet but are the 2 throttle positions on the original part or is it an actuay seperate part i need?

This was from my sons 2002 dakar so not sure if its the same.

Still got the part if you need it, let me know and i will dig it out.

Find out if the part i have fits if it does you can have it.

longer cables are not needed.

cheers for that. i will ring up the local BMW dealer and see if it does, cant see why it would not fit it but will double check anyway

I am about to de-restrict a 2005 F650GS and am after the standard throttle cable plate. If you want to restrict your do you want to swap?

do you have the partnumber for the plate? ya may be up for swop but wouldnt mind hanging onto the plate so can change it over in few months
