hi, Simmo, we had our bikes lowered with 30mm by shortening the tubes that are inside your front fork legs with 25mm, and sliding the fork legs 5mm upwards in the clamps, and for the rear shock you can machine a new groove for the circlip that stops the upper spring strut 10mm higher up the damper body, which will effectively give you 30mm at the rear wheel. Cost you next to nothing and you can reverse the whole thing again if you need to. good luck, hans
and, oh yeah, while you're at it, and everything is dismantled anyway, you can go one step further, and pack steering head and rear fork bearings with a quality grease, these fail mostly because they are greased very sparsely in the factory, water gets in, rust ruins then everything.
