I'm thinking about getting some upper protection bars for mny 2015 800GS and I was wondering if these (below) are more cosmetic that protective. Has anyone else fitted them and if so, what are your thoughts? I've already got the OEM lower bars fitted so the idea of just fastening these on to the existing bars appeals to me. One of the other reasons for wanting upper bars is so I can fit some additional spotlights.
