F800GS Adventure - mount a USB slot? where?

Any idea where to place a usb slot except for the DIN port?

I'm using the DIN port currently for my Scottoiler.

I’ve wired one as a piggyback to the switched power supply under the false tank cover, next to the battery. I have the USB female loose tucked into the fairing in case I need to charge my phone.

What type of thing did u wire into it? or did u actually wire a USB cable into it? Feels a bit too skillful for this mechanically incapable fella.

I pulled the DIN plug out of the panel and blanked the hole with a blanking grommet. I then bought one of THESE and wired in one of THESE into the plug. The whole lot sits tucke away down by the battery. One of the USB outlets powers my DMD-2 nav tablet and the second can power my phone if I ever need it. 10 minute job!
