New to me 2017 F800GS Adventure

Just nudging 150,000 miles when it went. Still on original clutch, timing chain, never required valve clearances doing, all well within tolerances. Didn't burn any oil.
:beerjug:
The 3 year old one I bought used from a BMW main dealer had a buggered engine at 11,000 miles , bores/pistons/bottom end bearings (and it had three service stamps from that dealership )

Nearly sorted …..

I had two, great bikes, so many positives.

The niggles

Headstock bearings

Seat, even the OEM gel seat, replaced with a Corbin

Headlights

I’d definitely have another

Head bearings all OK and an easy job replacing , I’ve got the comfort seat on my F800GS and find that OK , not sure yet on the GSA seat . It’s a different seat pan on the GSA to GS so getting a used GSA Corbin seat is a bit of a challenge . Headlight - not too worried as I rarely ride in the dark

Hi John, bikes looking good. Can you provide a link for the headlamp guard please and I'll order one for my F700.

Many thanks.

Vertu in Boldon (or any other BMW Motorrad dealer) should be able to order you one , part number is in the picture

If you have any problems I can get one for you

Thanks John, I'll give Boldon a ring tommorow, hopefully they can help failing that I'll be in touch. Have you moved from Ferryhill?

Just bought the headlight guard from Bahnstormer in Alton, £15.70 a cracking price for BMW OEM parts.
Just wish all their parts were as cheap!!
