Hi, not posted on this site for ages ……….
BUT I have just (yesterday) picked up my 2013 800GSA and wow it is so sophisticated after my 2002 650GS which I have used for the past 3 years. (which included a return trip Santander ….. Granada ! …. all by back roads )
The 800 GSA only has the road side Ally bmw side box, and I need to get a nearside side box. A long-shot I know, but before I buy new …… does anyone have a used nearside box they're not using and wanna sell-on ?
ALSO, am thinking of not bothering with getting a matching Ally top box (or even non-matching i.e. ARDcase) and instead using a dry bag, as would always use with the side boxes and so it should will 'sit' across the tail rack & side boxes.
Probably something like the Kappa dry bag WA404s …….. anyone have any experience of this arrangement.
