My recently acquired 1100 came fitted with a very fruity sounding Remus, but was also supplied with the original exhaust. Thinking of trying it out with the standard exhaust, as the Remus announces far and wide that Brewers Whoop is up for it today and is pushing on. Not always something one wishes to be announced.

Looking at the bike, and at Haynes Book of Half-Truths, it seems that there should be some means of bolting the exhaust (in the area of the collector-box) to the two loops attached to the frame close to the centre stand. Except that there are no attachment fittings or lugs at all on the exhaust.

WTF?

Can't believe that heavy exhaust can be supported solely by attachment to the downpipes and the pillion footpeg bracket. Can it, or am I missing a bracket or summat?
