Factory lowered suspension - Year of introduction ?

Anyone know when the mothership introduced factory lowered as an option?


I'm going to lower the GS by 30mm shortly, which will result in me needing to lower the beasty


ive got a centre stand organised, but still need to look at the side stand, or i'm guessing it will be too upright once done.


If i can find out the PN for a lowered unit, I can either source one of those , or get the current one lopped and welded

I lowered my GS 30mm (Wilbers) .
Cut and welded the center stand but increased the bend in the side stand a little which works fine.

Not as bad as i feared

Retail is £103.34

The length of the long stand is 276mm and the lowered is 247mm

Thats just the stand -

I'm guessing you may need springs , bushes & a new bumpstop etc


which may be extra lol
