Over the past 10 days, I've been experiencing quite a few false neutrals. Just wondering whether this is a symptom of a bigger problem about to land on me (... another one that is ...
).
I should say that I usually upshift without the clutch after 2nd. With this bike, I always have done since the initial service, so there's nothing new there. I have, from time to time, experienced false neutrals, but usually from 5th to 6th and I suspect it is my own fault for not being firm enough with the boot.
However, now I am getting them in a number of gears and usually when pressing on under hard acceleration. Resulting in one or two somewhat 'hairy' moments too!
The bike is an '05 GS with over 28k on the clock and I have owned it from new.
Any ideas?
