The new routes available in the Fermanagh/Leitrim/Sligo area for trail riding are now available. http://offthebeatentracknw.com/ Should be interesting. I've done a section of these before with Brian McGirr and Dakar from these forums, hard work but great craic!

Nice one... good find...will have to re-visit some of these in the new year... :)

They look great, kinda what I have been looking for as such.

Hats off to whomever runs the site, a lot of effort went into it.

tks for the link :thumb

An idea would be to mix these and the Hubb meet in June which is in Enniskillen. You'd have a great weeks biking then.

Fancy some exploring - Off the beaten track North West

Hello All,
This is one of a number of cross border projects between Cavan/Fermanagh/Leitrim Councils that we have been working on for a while. Started off as two separate 'tours', one for bikes and one for cars, the funders wanted them amalgamated so we had to leave out some of the more demanding off road sections. Brian McGirr has put a huge amount of time and effort into developing these routes for us (and got paid feck all). We would like if you guys would act as GuineaPpigs for us, test the routes out and give us feedback. Brian knows the whole route like the back of his hand, I have been over it all on two and four wheels and I think you will be impressed. But then I'm a bit biased.
I hope to get out with a GoPro or something similar over the Christmas break if there isn't a foot of snow, might see some of you on the road.

Hello All,
No knobblies required for these routes, they are mostly tarmac on back roads, with a few gravel sections, nothing too severe. I have done the whole lot on a 1200RT without falling off!
All you have to watch out for is tractors, sheep, cow sh*t on the road and the odd tourist. The website seems to take a couple of days off now and again, but is currently up and running for downloads.

Although the offthebeatentracknw website is still down, and looks likely to be for a while, there's now an App with the routes and everything available on the AppStore. And it's free :aidan
To the best of my knowledge there's also an Android version available
