Driving light support bracket

Any chance you could build a driving lights support bracket.

Have a look at the photos on http://http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=331471&page=3

The photos show the BMW driving lights. The bracket looks like a perfect way to mount spot lights. Certainly much better than mounting lights to crash bars, which is what I was thinking until I saw that bracket.

I too was looking for a bracket for my fog lights. I settled on the BMW bracket, though plastic is quite nicely made and comes with all fittings @£35.75 + vat. (Part No C77.51.8.529.215). Though this is designed for BMW lights I had no problem fitting my Micro DE lights. I would have preferred a stainless steel bracket but could not find one on the market. Even Migsel dont make one!!

If Mark makes one I could well change.

Mate send me it (I won`t nick it) and if I can make some out of lovely stainless for you I will - and won`t charge you :roll

I have ordered the radiator jobbies today. My first bit of bling for this bike.

Geezer - I REALLY hope you like them IF YOU DON`T then please send them back for a full refund.

If its your first bit of bling it`s important to me you are happy (as with some people bling can be an aquired taste).

So FFS if it isn`t `your bag` don`t worry - I have a reputation to keep and I can sell them 5 times over.

Otherwise you`d best look after them as I love all my babies......................:roll

Mark - first bit of bling on This bike. Been out for a bit of a bimble and there is a lot of road dressing going on, so I do think that rad guards are likely to be essential over the last few weeks.

I will let you know how I get on with them.

Ah ok panic over :thumb

After getting a stone in the rad (this was before i fitted the rad guards but the stone was small enough to go thro the area of concern) i feel the large centre cut outs across the centre of the rad guards are leaving the rad too exposed in this area.

There a work of art they look the business but i think there more a bling aspect than a prevention, I'm going to try and modify mine to stop unwanted stones entering thro the large cut outs across the centre.

Can`t fault ya mate - great idea :thumb2

i may even take that part out but, in error, I was worried about too little airflow.

Ayup, tbh i think because the guards sit off the rad i don't think there would be any issue with air flow so maybe you could integrate the criss-cross pattern instead or something similar !

They are lovely jubbly nice bit of bling, if you do change the design I'd no doubt buy another set alternatively ill get the mig out .

Mark,

I do want the most up to date version, not something which will be out of fashion as soon as I fit it! :D

Powder coated rear crud arrived today, and is now on the bike.:thumb Cheers Mark.:beerjug: I used double sided tape to fit the number plate to it, then screwed it on to the bike. This got rid of any vibrations at the bottom of the number plate.:D

Light bar

Got my "touring crud catcher" and am well pleased. As you did such a good job I was wondering if there is a spot light bar in the think tank ?

Good idea with the tape pal but wasn't needed - there's no vibration if you use the lower fastening point too :thumb
