Farkle development including the front crud

Btw

Btw I'm back from the Scottish six day trial - wow - how the hell those guys manage to keep up that punishment for six days is amazing :bow

Anyway I met 'devil' at weatherby services and had an interesting encounter with a German riding two up own a Dohc GSA - you, Sir, are one confident and skilful rider!

Got my Touring LC Crud Catcher today. Thank you

I have one concern. The front fender comes real close to the catcher
Is this how they all are? There seems to be no more than 5mm between the two and should the suspension compress a bit more I am sure it will hit

Has anyone else had any issues on the LC crud catcher?
You can only fit it one way so I am hoping its not my bad install

Thanks

It does sit very close to the fender and I've had no issues with it. The fact that it is so close means hat it's going to be more effective, in my view.

Hi there and yes initially I had the same concern but I spent a lot of time doing EVERYTHING I could to make it hit including mechanically compressing the front suspension but I can assure you it won't hit. You will see that the suspension of the bike moves the telelever in and up and down direction rather than back towards the engine itself. I understand your concern but I think you will find its fine pal.

I was pretty sure you would have done your homework on this one Mark. It just caught me by surprise as I never saw a photo with the wheel straight and fender that close.

I have a 2600km trip coming up on Friday so trying to dot the Is and cross the Ts. Now I can rest easy its tried and tested.

Thanks for a quick response guys

Cheers Mark, rad guards and crud catcher waiting for me when I arrived home from picking the new bike up :thumb

Mark, any news on this?

Sorry mate, I got absolutely slated by a fellow tosser for no good reason recently and its really cheesed me off TBH so I`ve walked away for a while.

Not sure if you can understand but I hope you do.

Please feel free to nudge me in a few weeks but for now I`m taking a break while I remind myself that the majority of the people on here are good `uns worth working all hours for (I have a day job).

Best regards, once again I hope you can understand and also appreciate my honesty.

mark.

top quality top service

Hi Mark
just wanted to say thanks for the products that arrived within a few days of ordering.
Both items are well made and easy to fit - but the rad guards are especially COOOOL!
A very tasty and totally practical bit of bling for the bike - love em to bits.
Thanks for your prompt service and top quality British products.
There's a pint in for you if you ever down my way.
Cheers:beerjug:

That's very kind of you to say, thank you. Btw those rad protectors are horrible to make but lovely when done.

Second that, quality and service second to none. Don't let them put you off :thumby:

+3.:thumb You have to ignore some of the pricks on here.:rob They're used to being ignored in real life, which is why they are on here acting like wankers.:D

My rad guards and crud catcher turned up next day. I had a bit of an issue my end with PayPal. A few phone calls to me got the issue resolved. I would like to reiterate what everyone else is saying, top service and keep up the good work.

PS have you ever thought of making rad guards for MotoX bikes?

Loving my farkles, don't let the bastards get you down.

Hi Mark,

Very sorry to hear of the problems with another Tosser.
You are a great guy and great to do business with. You may remember that you brought out the pannier stabiliser for the 1200 TC. I purchased one when doing a unexpected emergency trip with EXCESS weight in my panniers, you were out of stock, yet you took the pre-production model off your own bike and sent it to me pdq. What more needs to be said.
