Farkle development including the front crud

And what cleaning products are those nutty? I'm not known for spending much time cleaning my bikes but I might make more of an effort with this one :-)

I just use SDOC100 gel (make sure you get the gel, not the cheaper stuff:rob), and Zymol car shampoo:beerjug: I've also got a decent variety of soft brushes to get in all the nooks and crannies

Thanks. I have some of that gel. Just don't have much patience with brushes, nooks and crannies ;-)

Hard to say mate - as an idea i would say around 7 working days but if I`ve got a few going through then it can be as mad as `next day` like it was with nutty gser (but that was also a little exceptional as I had let him down).

if you work on around 5-7 working days then you won`t be too far out but sometimes it can be sooner or later...........

Sorry, don`t want to sound evasive, just honest.

don`t forget - this isn`t a totally commercial venture with huge stocks carried in warehouses!

Cheers Mark,

As soon as I get a firm delivery date I will be in touch.

Cheers

John.

Vario Mounting adaptor ?

Mark - Is there much chance of an adaptor plate similar to the one you made for the GSA to allow the 'old' vario topbox and mount to be fitted or would it take much to change one.....If i had the bike in front of me I could probably have a guess as to how straight forward it could be but I haven't yet. I just don't want to change the top box for a new one and then find that a few quid could make it fit.

Cheers

Mick

Oh yeah

Just ordered one for delivery to Germany. It will be nice to fit a "Brit" bit to my bike (which I collect on Tuesday)

Yes, enjoy the feeling - sadly we have generally long lost the ability to produce individually made parts due to the relentless onslaught of the stack em high sell em cheap pacific rim countries where a faceless slanty eyed brethren wouldn`t have a clue what he was making (or care about) but just would work as fast as possible, looking forward to his bowl of rice as payment for a weeks work.

Long live people who care about what they do and long live British craftsmanship, in my mind still the best in the world.

Oops, bit of a rant there. Sorry, didn`t mean to `soapbox it` but I do feel passionate about what I do and other people in this country do to say `Made in Britain`

Yes I think it is possible, looking at my LC, but of course it will have to go behind the following list:

1. Rad protectors.
2. Rear Crud.
3. Pillion seat plate.

Impending doom

Guys, as an aside, I have been told by the geezer who looks after my accounts that I will have no choice but to register for VAT shortly.

What it means is that I will have to apply this tax to all my stuff then pay said tax over to the governement quarterly.

So, if you want any gear PLEASE consider getting it before this bloody tax gets put on.

And PLEASE don`t think this is a sales ploy, coz I can assure you it isn`t and I`ve been trying to put this off for ages.

Oh I need these, was looking at buying the pillion grid but would rather support small business.

Any idea of prices and dates?

All the best,

JT

For sure EVERYTHING will be lower priced, more readily available (I`ve heard horror stories of 4-6 weeks from order wtf?) and hopefully better quality than the `giant` who has two `T`s in its name...............

But as a very very rough guide:

1. Rad protectors. 2 weeks very approx £80
2. Rear Crud. 3 weeks very approx £20
3. Pillion seat plate. 4 weeks very approx £60

Once again these development times are very `approx` coz if I ain`t happy I won`t make them.

And THANK YOU for supporting the small guy :thumb2

Geezer, if you have a bracket in your headstock for the ESA unit (and don`t have an ESA unit fitted) then there is a bracket that will allow a horn to be hung on it. I did one for my 2010 GSA for an `Ultimate Blast` horn.

I have ESA, so no love for me then? Really miss scaring them cagers. There was this really memorable occation with a dude in a Range Rover. Elbow in window, phone in ear, coffee in the other hand. He slowly slides across two lanes and into mine, not looking or caring at all. I let him have all the 137 dB or whatever (that thing is loud!) from three feet: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA Coffee everywhere. I swear, the huge beast jumped sideways.

Wouldn't think that for a moment Mark. :thumb

Put crud catcher on this weekend, superb really works and looks well. Will await rear one to come along.

Unfortunately already got radiator guards from Touratec sorry as would have loved to have supported you again :comfort

Nippy Norman sent me a set of the TT protectors to evaluate for him - they are good bits of kit in my humble opinion (strong, well made) so you have purchased well - but thanks for the offer of further support :thumb2
