Fastest bike a WC or a Ducati 1199 Panigale

That's not the point. This demonstrates what an awesome bike the GS is. The Panigale may be faster as shown on the straight and I'm not convinced it was better in the bends. Well ridden sir.....!!!!

This was posted before - the Panigale rider is sandbagging to make the GS look good.

FFS - the Panigale is faster.................... just standing still!

Ahhhhhhh C'mon ...

It's 20% bike 80% rider.

How do you think it would have panned out if we had Lorenzo on the Ducati and Rossi on the GS ..... ?

Yer can't judge one bike against another based on two joe public riders at a track day :thumb2

(Twice the panigale bloke nearly stuffed it in the gravel on a right hander .... !)

As with all WC riders you are deluding yourself if you think the toilet can out run a Panigale

As posted by the author of the video. I don't think he was under any illusion that his WC was faster than the Ducati.

Put them up against each other on a twisty bumpy A/B road and it could possible be different, but what does it matter. Could you imagine loading up the Ducati and setting off for a tour of Europe ? 4/500 mile days ? Horses for courses, as they say.

"This is one of my epic rides. Rode almost 10/10, trying to keep up with Ricky on Ducati Panigale. You will notice ABS kicking in at times, slight headshake in corners when front was about to wash out, you can hear knees scraping. I gave it all. This should also forever close topic on how "fast" GS is compared to superbikes. It is fast, but not a match. I was on stock rubber - Metzeler NEXT, pressure 2.5 both front and rear. Stickier rubber would make a difference but would not be a deal breaker. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I rode "water boxer".

I enjoyed that :thumb it seems that the GS rider hardly shifted his weight in the bends when the Ducati rider was hanging off getting his knee slider koudos

Nice to see the Rev limiter hit but it does prove that the GS is a very capable bike. Nice circuit as well, plenty of fast sweeping bends :thumb2

My GS WC was an excellent track bike, mine on Next's went well. The WC GSA on Anakees less so.
If there is any kind of straights there is no chance against a decently ridden sports bike, its a mathematical certainty that the sports bike will eat the GS.
Mind you the GS is more fun.

Where's the luggage ?

In my case, it is Ventura with a tank bag.

HP2 Sport to the Black Forest and beyond.... Just a tank bag, it not being renowned for luggage. There is a thread on it somewhere with pictures.

Ahhhh ..... And I always thought he was just a bit portly .....
