fastway footpeg spring fitting

hi i got a set of fastway pegs from NN and while they seem very easy to fit i can not gifure how the springs hook up,
i have got a friend of mine who works in a garage to have a look and he is baffled to,
it must be easy but the diagram makes no sence to us.
help please

Hi Frank, the brother had the same problem, took them to a mechanic in Kildare and after a lot of huffing and puffing and filing fitted them.

The alternative is easy peasy:augie Hope the images help.

hi mate,i placed the spring on the footpeg as shown in the second figure,u then have to push against the spring to get the peg roughly in situ. i put a 6mm allen key thru the footpeg bracket from the bottom so the assembley stays in place. then u can knock the origonal pin thru from the top whilst wigglin the peg! takes 5mins to do after the initial head scratchin! :thumb2
