Trouble is, as a society we all like things to be easy. Because Inherently we are lazy.
As some in here have and would suggest:
save yourself hassle, trade it in, loose more value in the bike than it is actually worth, because dealer will pull figure for your bike out the blue, screw you over by pulling wool over your eyes and tell you that the deal on the table is the best one you’ll find and there is only one bike that he’s got in that specification, get back to having new bike, another PCP, £5-£7 to change, etc. EASY, all in a matter of couple of hours, while sat comfortably sipping “free” coffee.
Now my principal is, sell the bike privately, yes it is headache, takes ages to find a buyer and so on, but I always came out with more value from it. I then go to the dealer with nothing to spoil the deal.
However, I must remind myself to keep the flipping thing and enjoy it for much longer than 22 month.
