Hi all,
I have a faulty fog lamp switch on my 2010 GSA in that when switched on I have to press and hold the switch for the fogs to come on. I've tried the WD40 route but it didn't work. Any suggestions on a fix or where I can source a sensibly priced replacement, Motorworks cont list them. Thanks. John

I got rid of the switch (mine is a 2007 so it was the big box switch at the handle bar mount)
SW Motech have a lovely little water proof bar mounted switch for use with their own range of lights.

Sent using a Jedi mind trick!

Do a search on here John, but I believe it's a relatively simple fix to take the switch apart and insert a small shim (i.e piece of plastic) between the pushy bit and the micro switchy bit. I had mine replaced under warranty for the same reason during a service, but the new switch seems to be heading the same way and I rarely ever use it, I just leave it switched on. However if I just touch the switch the fogs and little green light will turn off, so will be looking to do the same soon....

A piece of plastic milk bottle material will do the job. Its thin but stiff enough to pad out the witch so the mechanism flips over better. You'll need some small torx tools to remove the screws. The switch and grip are screwed to the handlebar with a screw hidden under the switch end of the grip rubber. Peel back the rubber just a little and you will find the screw.

+1, did this a couple of years back on mine, never failed again.
