FD oil change

Changed my gear box and FD oils today, boy does that FD oil stink!
Filtred both as they came out and no nasty bits in eitheer
But boy does the FD oil stink anyone no why this is? very black as well and like water not at all thick like the gearbox oil..

The oil contains phosphorous compounds for extreme pressure protection. As they are activated, they give off the characteristic 'stink'.
