I have read a rumour that BM are now saying that the volume of oil in the final drive should be 180 ml. It was previously 220ml. Anyone know what the volume should be? And, yes, the seal on the right side of the drive has started to leak - 2007 GS 15000 miles. Still love the bike, best I have ever owned! Job should not be difficult to do. Help is on this site. Bike out of warranty.

many thanks for your quick reply. I presume that the volume was reduced to lessen the "pressure" on the seal?
