Ferry Crossing?

Can anyone tell me if I can get a ferry from Morrocco to the Canary Islands preferably Las Palmas GC, instead of 36/48 hours on a boat from Cadiz?? Planning a tour for my retirement. 3 years and counting!!

As far as I'm aware the only direct way from Morocco to the Canaries at present is to fly...BUT.. I understand a ferry link may begin Nov 2007
