Hi guys on my 1150gsa i have a couple of ff50s which are wired to come on with main beam.The very nice Mr Deacon who i bought the beast from fitted the forementioned lights and what id like to know not being much of a techno can they be wired to come on all the time with the headlights? and is this legal?

I use mine all the time with the headlight on... There is a switch if I want to turn them off but I dont. In 2 years I have never been stopped for them and rode past loads of police cars so doesnt seem to be an issue.

If I have understood correctly, here on the mainland aux lights (high beam, fogs are a different story) must have a separate switch so that they can be turned on and off at will, some indicator (a lamp) must come on to show the driver they are lit, and they can only come on together with the built-in high beam (which must ignite a blue indicator).
