FFS !! Scala Q3 vs RT audio 2014

I can connect my Q3 to the bike via helmet 1 and get music/radio. Then if I switch off the Q3 then switch it back on, the RT shows a connection but no sound from the Q3.

If I wipe all connections from RT then re connect it the Q3, it connects and plays fine, till I switch the Q3 off again.

Any ideas please ? it's doing my head in !!
