Anyone fitted one to an early 1200? (pre 2008)

Do you need an additional bracket or is the oem place enough room?

Most web sites i've looked at are rather vague.

I've got 2 Fiamms fitted to my 2011 1200GS and there is enough room to mount them next to the original horn (which I've kept and utilize that as well....... (V. Loud...!)

I've fitted some, but never an easy job due to size , I find now the fiamm mini blaster, is a very easy fit option, with excellent result, a far more reliable.

Correct. They are Mini Blasters, but in conjunction with the standard horn they are very loud and a doddle to fit.

Very reliable too and the build quality is excellent.

I just can't imagine needing anything louder !

Having got the fiamm master blaster and tried unsuccessfully to wire it in at the weekend I repeat my original question.

Anyone fitted one to an early (pre 2008) 1200 ???

And it's the wiring I'm stuck with - not the physical fit, which was easy.

Fit a relay, using the horn o/e power as the switching live to the relay, then wire in as normal, as you use the horn button horn will work, if you need more instruction pm me at the weekend when I'm back and I can send some.

Cheers

Finished fitting today :thumb2

FUCK that's loud. :green gri  :green gri

Much much louder than the Stebel Magnum it replaced.

Can't wait to get alongside the next twat on his/her phone :D
