I love the fact that the bike shakes when you fire the horn. Bring on the summer.

It does look a bit vulnerable... You sure it couldn't go up under the beak somewhere?

Trust me I looked. With the para lever and forks very easy to get in the way. It is also very big. The mount from Cymarc very solid. In the event of a fall the horn sits inside of the crash bars. It is not exactly compact. Front view:

Couldn't live with that.
When looking at the Cymarc link it shows it mounted on the left crash bar on an LC, the bike it's designed for.
Surely it would be a neater fit on the left crash bar on your hex head?

This is a regular GS 1200 DOHC. The factory horn on this bike is on the right. Haven't been inside a LC but you could hide a white good on the new adventure. That being said I did remove my exhaust baffle servo and it might fit in that spot very neatly. In any case it sits under the fairing and you can't see it when sitting on the bike.

I'd be concerned that on the engine bar it could be damaged in the event of a drop?

I have a pair of the FIAMM 'Mini Blasters', and to keep them out of the way I put them under the beak where the headlight ballasts are mounted:

Had a tinker yesterday and twisted unit sideways. Unit now sits in line with fairing.
