As from the 11/01/2025 filtering or lane splitting is now generalized for the whole of France



Yes , I know it’s always been tolerated but now that it's officially included in the code de la route you can get a fine for doing it wrong :D

Don’t do it on the périphérique around Paris for example as the speed limit is too low to qualify ………

 
Merci....it'll take me a few hours of riding to find enough cars that are forming a 'jam' of sorts to try it out.....I normally ride for 60 miles and see fewer than 10 vehicles......

+1 Although I've had to filter quite a bit around the Rennes ring road in the past.
