final drive covers.. protectors 1200 hexhead

Hi Chaps,just wondered what you guys are using to stop the FD chewing up in the event of a spill/off?

You could fit R&G final drive pivot sliders to protect in the event of a spill.

This one is cheap enough to be disposable.

You might also find a metal cover for the FD case but they trap dirt so while it might prevent crash damage it will likely promote corrosion damage. Wunderlich and Touratech will be happy to provide some <s>tat</s> equipment to bling up the back end.

If it all goes to hell in a hand cart, get a carbon fibre cover though you might have to ring around as it's all LC stuff these days.
