Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, but have found a lot of useful info on here in the past. I owe a thank you to those who contribute here.
I'm Scottish, but currently based in Miami. Since this is one of the largest BMW forums on the net I thought there might be a few people who might want to hear about a final drive issue that was caused by something other than mechanical wear.

I started writing this up on advrider, and I'm still posting about the events that took place, but if you've ever walked into a service department, and had the instincts that something was very wrong, this is what happens when you don't walk away...

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=998831

I'll keep posting there, but will also check in here to answer any questions.
I wish all of you better luck in service than I had.

That's shocking ...And the worst bit is the amount of money they took from you

Blimey mate, you have the patience of Jobe.....and then some:eek:

I've always found US dealers to be more than helpful and will go out of there way to get you bike going even if it means they are out of pocket of move other stuff about.

Bad service is bad service though and those muppets in Miami need shutting down!

Hope you get things sorted.

I've read some of your troubles I found it sometimes hard to keep up but it looks like you have payed $ 5000 to sort this out to a shyster. I hope USA bmw sort this out with a massive refund for you. It's the last thing bmw need seeing their very busy sorting out rts. JJH

Lots of guns in USA, I'm surprised you haven't bought one and used it on some Miami "service technicians". Its enough to make your piss boil.

Tried reading the unintelligible garbage.

It would help if complaint was posted in English. I gave up at page 7 of the unreadable description of what happened, which was broken up into various sections and repeated ad infinitum. From what I can gather the dealer was grossly incompetent and negligent, and the bike owner is an idiot. Good combination. Life's too short to try and decipher this garbage. Myke

If you found it that bad why go to page 7 ? Are you dyslexic or summat ?

My suspicions are that you might be.

It is probable that the word you were desperately looking for is: something.

No, I delved throught the garbage in the hope that I might find a clear explanation of the problem and what went wrong.
At page 7, I gave up.
Everything I read of his postings could be encapsulated in a single 200 word paragraph, instead of a long, rambling diatribe which, like the Ozalum bird, keeps going round in ever decreasing circles until it vanishes up it's own asshole. Just like the original complainant.
Alternatively, if the cap fits, wear it.

You should put you bed against the wall. It would stop you getting out the wrong side of it. How could the posts be condensed to 200 words when they show a ongoing fuck up in real time. I found them hard to follow sometimes but the flavour of the drama shines trough as it unfolds and to edit it would remove the honesty and sometimes urgency which shines trough. JJH

:If your going to ramble,at least do it in English.
Its the OOZLUM bird.!!!!
Twat.:comfort
