1stly, Hi guys.
IM new to the forum and BMW ownership....
i Swapped my Harley for an 02 GSA, and i must say what a cracking bike. i just hope it can live up to my expectations ( 330,000mls on my pan european without a single break down)
However I've put a couple of hundred miles on it this weekend and i feel summats not right.
when i throttle on and off its like im riding a bike with a very slack chain, like crown wheel is bouncing off the pinion teeth. ifs awfull especially in lower gears.
Now being a BMW i dont expect it to ride like this, however i have nothing to compare.....
coould you guys please let me know if this is normal, or wether i need to investigate the final drive components.
Thanks
Andi

Re-learn to ride a dry clutch shaft driven bike which is rather more forgiving than a belt driven bike.

You need a bit more finesse :augie
