I was in Dundee the other day when I realised there was an unusual noise coming from the final drive. The bearings had failed. Makes a change from the bearing seal failing, but I suspect that that happened causing the bearing failure.
This is not the first time that I have had to use the Modial warranty and they were once again excellent, except that they wanted to take the bike to John Clarks as it was the nearest dealer.
I had to argue with them that Dalkeith was closer to my home address before they agreed to take the bike there!
So once again I am in a hire car, which may sound great but I have to commute to Edinburgh and in a car it take double the time out of my life.
