Superglue is very effective on rubber and neoprene
out of warranty unfortunately
that's what I thought.
Replace, they are not overly expensive. While you are in the process it gives you the opportunity to remove and inspect the driveshaft and lubricate its splines, if you have an earlier model without a final drive drain you can drain the final drive oil through the fill port as it will be hinged to the bottom. The whole process won't take much more than an hour depending on the tea/talk/work ratio.

easy job then and you can change final drive oil and grease your splines as well whilst you are there
Clean with alcohol-based hand-cleanser; then superglue.
Apart from sticking flesh (usually to bog-seats), this is the only decent use for superglue!
