While at Malta we went for a look at the Harley's at Faaker see, http://www.hogeuropegallery.com/ebw-2011/

on the way there a sleeping glide rider, @ 24 seconds, took one of other bikes out,
helmet cam worn by John (hotel owner) catches it all.
Traffic starts to slow, you can see my brake lights come on (@ 29 seconds) then Peter's (the victim) and John starts to slow.
But not the harley rider:eek:

Left Malta and headed South ending up near Trieste,

Found an Agriturismo in the hills nearby, it was a one man farm.
He makes all his own cheese, salami, yoghurt, butter and booze.
He was also building holiday chalets near the farmhouse.
Swimming pool was a bit iffy:augie

Was going to stay in Dubrovnik for a night but when I went to check out ferry times, the last ferry for three days was getting ready to go.
They very kindly held it back until we could be booked in and allowed on-board.
Only problem was we had ridden all day and boarded the ferry late afternoon, thought it was an overnight job, oh no, gets into Bari around 8 pm.
Long day:comfort

some more tomorrow.

Landing in Bari at 8pm was not clever, still very warm, 27c, very dark and normal Italian roads with no marking and drivers on a mission.
Found a welcoming hotel near Sannicandro Di Bari, http://www.hotelpirotta.com/ , room with chromotherapy.
Next day travelled a very winding road across Italy to the West coast and Sapri.
