It's only been about 4 weeks since I paid for the bike, but when it was MOT'd, it was discovered that the front wheel bearings needed replacing, but also the rear shock was wrecked.
So, I paid the extra, and ordered a Wilbers shock, and on Friday, the bike finally arrived.
Having never ridden one of these before, I knew I was taking a bit of a risk, but after a bimble around some local lanes today (150 odd miles, and 8 frozen fingers later
), I can confirm that it was a risk worth taking.
Had a bit of a moment when trying to pull away in 2nd, where it stalled in the middle of the road, after a blind bend.
Luckily it was a very quiet B road, so I'm still here to tell the story.
I won't be making that mistake again; this isn't the GS!
This is a fun little bike.
