It's only been about 4 weeks since I paid for the bike, but when it was MOT'd, it was discovered that the front wheel bearings needed replacing, but also the rear shock was wrecked. So, I paid the extra, and ordered a Wilbers shock, and on Friday, the bike finally arrived.:beerjug:

Having never ridden one of these before, I knew I was taking a bit of a risk, but after a bimble around some local lanes today (150 odd miles, and 8 frozen fingers later:comfort), I can confirm that it was a risk worth taking.:thumb

Had a bit of a moment when trying to pull away in 2nd, where it stalled in the middle of the road, after a blind bend.:blast Luckily it was a very quiet B road, so I'm still here to tell the story.:D I won't be making that mistake again; this isn't the GS!:aidan

This is a fun little bike.:JB

Shhhhhhhhhhh the XC is one of the worlds best kept secrets ;)

:beerjug:

And another one to the fold.
Resistance is futile.

Cheers Dave.

Its a cracker!:thumb Just a shame that not many people will get to ride one, as there aren't many around.:comfort

And some people who do have one can't be arsed to ride it:D

Still only used one tank of fuel (ie. not very far) between us in the past 6 weeks.

;)
