Just a note...fine whasky to be had at Costco...Glenlivet Founders Reserve at less than 20 quid a bottle, thanks to Ronnos fine eye for a bargain(and it is certainly that), and ably assisted by Peter Scotboxer I am in possession of 4 bottles....well actually a bit less than 4 bottles now....and if you can you should.

Many thanks to Scotboxer for aiding and abetting my enterprise......for all his frothy politics he's a good guy!! And we didn't kill each other over our tea!!

Ta....you'll get extra pheasant at Blackloonies...

It's all to do with some fascist's description of Peter's politics. Maybe all of us who are to the left of Atilla the Hun should adopt it as an avatar. Je suis "frothy" man....

Aye Symon. Seem to remember that was popular with the weans when I started teaching. If all else failed, I could get a laugh with my polar bear imitation! Seems appropriate now I'm at the other end!

What was the drink called I just forget ( mind you I forget lots of things these days :D)

Cresta.......

Not sure if named after the famous sled run, or the Vauxhall rust bucket........

The airport here sells bottles of Danish whisky. I was looking at it and the sales bloke wanders over and asks if I want to buy some- in Danish.
I reply that I'm just looking and how good is it.

He asks where I'm from and I tell him ' Scotland'

He then advises me not to buy any.....
