My work is done. Just needs a few cosmetics finishing, seat, fork gaitors etc.

New siebenrock 1070 kit :eek:

Bike hasn't run for at least three years, but fired up first time. :bounce1

Brand new speedo/instruments, in KPH because the bike is going to europe.

Absolutely lovely. That's a great job and a very very nice bike indeed. One thing though, it looks like it's had fresh paint etc, were you not tempted to go the whole hog and vapour blast the engine and hubs too? In any event, I'd still like it!:thumb2

I've not been down that route myself yet. But have debated it a number of times with my 90S (I haven't though because I haven't repainted anything, and as such would look odd). It basically requires a full strip of the casings/parts which would be blasted (many different approaches and finishes in this regard: vapour, soda, walnut shells etc etc). I've read accounts of people not stripping down, but seems a tad risky to me. Depending on the particular blasting route taken, from the little research I've undertaken there are many suppliers out there. Cost I'm not sure of though I'm afraid.

It's a customers bike. He just wanted it running, and in good mechanical health not a total restro job.
