Firefox - getting slow?

Been using Firefox for years, but compared to Chrome it seems very sluggish these days.

Using Resource Monitor to analyse it really seems to soak up CPU.

Are the Firefox days over?

Thought it was computer, but Firefox is getting slower and some pages will not load, and that includes twitter....

Strangly I had the same.. but the ran the update within firefox and it went loads better...

I think it was trying to download in the background and that sucked...

Then again I now find myself using Chrome.... apart from at work when it has to be IE and Firefox

yep Firefox is bloated now. I used to have to use it for web development at work and firebug was a very handy plugin but now I'm out of that field I use Chrome all the time and love it

Try Iron, a better chrome.

I tried printing a web page on it this week several times & got garbage. It has some way to go.

I would have to agree with you. I gave up using Firefox a while ago and just use Chrome now. Firefox used to be so good as well but it has just got fat over time.
