Firefox tab question

the toolbar links.. is there a way of getting them to open in a new tab rather than in the last opened tab?( without doing right click...open in new tab thing)

I think you can set the middle button of the mouse to do that.

I can't remember where though:o
 
if you press

the 'alt' key then 'f' then 't' that do the same thing.
 
but all i want is to click on a toolbar bookmark and get it appearing in a new tab

Would this be an OS thing? I run Suse 10.3 linux rather than Windows XX
 
Just CTRL click it as mentioned above. Not exactly what you want but how much effort is it to get one more finger working? :nenau

but i could right click and open new tab faster.... still too lazy to do that.....
