A day like today was not to be wasted, so taxed the Dommi and headed south....
First stop, Tweedsmuir

No HASAW a century ago ...

and even more dangerous for Covenanters in the 1680s ...

over to Talla. The reservoir was literally full to overflowing with spillways in full spate.


Then over the hill to Megget. You'll not see skies (or water) as blue as this very often.

Then to Yarrow, Innerleithen, the Moorfoots and home via the A7. Note to self - avoid A7 until the railway is finished to Gala. Crap all over the road from construction traffic.
Cracking day but bloody cold by the time I got home. There's a lot to be said for the RT's big fairing and heated grips!
