A day like today was not to be wasted, so taxed the Dommi and headed south....

First stop, Tweedsmuir

No HASAW a century ago ...

and even more dangerous for Covenanters in the 1680s ...

over to Talla. The reservoir was literally full to overflowing with spillways in full spate.

Then over the hill to Megget. You'll not see skies (or water) as blue as this very often.

Then to Yarrow, Innerleithen, the Moorfoots and home via the A7. Note to self - avoid A7 until the railway is finished to Gala. Crap all over the road from construction traffic.

Cracking day but bloody cold by the time I got home. There's a lot to be said for the RT's big fairing and heated grips!

T'was sitting in the office thinking this was a good day (cool and dry) for a ride out. Not jealous....

T'was sitting at the School thinking this was a good day (sunny and dry) for a ride out with Scotboxer......but some of us still have to go to work.

So, at the end of the day, I went over to the allotment and pulled up a pile of weeds in prep for the tatties to go in.
Roll on retirement when I can do both on the same day.

Was out myself today took the old bumblebee over the Dukes to Callander then back over the Campsies home ,lovely day but as you say Scotboxer I missed heated grips it was fekin chilly.Back up on the ramp to see how my oil sealing efforts over the winter are holding up .One other bike seen at Aberfoyle (black1150 gs).Good to feel dry roads again :beerjug:
