Set out on the A272 to Loomies for coffee

Onward to Winchester. Great views over the South Downs, looking south towards Southhampton.

The other side of Winchester picking the A30 to Salisbury, then A360 to Devizes followed by the A361 to Avebury

A4 towards Newbury, where I got hopelessly lost (note to self: save up for a GPS!) Ended up in Basingstoke and took the A339 to Alton. Just Missed Jacks ride from the Holiday Inn (Sorry mate).

A32 out of Alton, where I start to see few GS. Bahnstomers ?

Yep! Loads of GS

Backs to Loomies. Where I catch up with Jacks and bump into Dexter before back home on the A272. Just under 250 miles. A beer and curry tonight and it might just be a near perfect day

@Garfield - that's what I thought. Many GS at Bahnstormers, some with UKGSER stickers on a red 12er and black 12er.

General idea. T-shirt and stickers with UKGSER handle, so that we can recognize each other, how's that?

is that why the pics have blue sky........ they were visible in Dublin at 9 am today for a brief few mins then wild grey sky.

I think if this is from today you were in town not on real GS roads, my partner washed his previous bikes so much you would believe they were going to melt otherwise. Since he got his 1200 GS he admires the muck and only really cleans it if we go meet cows. you know why.
