Just got back from my first run on the newest member of the Craigie transport fleet. :bounce1

Picked up the bike from Dundee and headed down through Glenfarg, Kinross, over Kincardine, down to Biggar. Peebles and Gala before heading back up the road to home via Dalkeith. (200 miles).

The bike had arrived 6 weeks earlier than I was expecting (even that was 4 months earlier than MC Dalkeith had originally quoted) :)

I swapped the original GSA seat for my "old" low GS seat. (My legs are to short, although beautifully formed for the std. GSA seat).

The GSA doesn't feel as unweldy I was was expecting. The brakes (non ABS) don't feel any less powerful than the old GS's servo'd brakes. The gearbox feels a bit smoother (time will tell if its any better than the old one). I still need to play around with the "electronically" adjustable suspensio, but I can tell you that my feet don't touch the ground when I turn it up to the "hard off-road" setting.

Anyway, just need to get the garage finished so that I can give it a good wash and polish after every run.

Skye says don't strain those dancing legs :D

Bike looks great and sounds like you had a good run today.

I was out yesterday and got caught in a hailstorm. Had been sunny right up until I wheeled the bike out of the garage. Hope tomorrow is dry at least for the Glasgow Egg run.

Take care

Iain

Nice bike Kaycee - I'll look out for it on the roads around 'the Ferry' :thumb.

Sounds like a good time to organise another run to give all these new bikes an outing.

Bob.
