Had a meeting outside work this morning lasted until 12. 5 miles to get there 55 miles to get back to work :D

If the weather is shite I might just go, as I seem tae only go oot in shite weather these days:thumb2

Chief Druid and Seer at the Met Office says:

"Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Very unsettled few days. Wet and windy on Thursday then drier for a time on Friday but rain later. Dry start to Saturday then heavy rain and gales in afternoon.

Updated: 1538 on Tue
"

Gonna be fun going home on Sat aft.........

Fair comment, Ronno. But seeing as I'll already be there I won't have much choice in the matter.........I'll just have to make the most of the Hotels' facilities the previous evening:ChrisKelly

Mind you, I'll not be offended if the weather is totally shite and no-one turns up.

Honest.:augie

I'll be keeping an eye on the weather for sure.....I'm letting myself down by not having had a real run on the bike so far this year.....:o

I've had a word with the Chief Druid at the Met Office and he's issued a marginally better forecast for Saturday..note the absence of the word 'Gales':

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Mainly dry at first on Saturday with some bright intervals but cloud rain and strengthening winds moving in from west. Mainly dry and bright on Sunday and Monday.

"Rain and strengthening winds" (as above) for Saturday per BBC Weather.

I'll be making my mind up on the morning of the run I'm afraid, Klanky. I realise that's no much use to you as you're heading off on Friday but there's nae sense in saying "I'll see you there" and then no' turnin' up (or postin' on Saturday sayin' "I've got a cracked windscreen and need to get it fixed" :augie)

Room for one more? My bike needs the exercise, and it'll get me out of the house.:augie

Might come along and see who's who...

This is the SS. There's always room for one more :beerjug:

Furry Boots in NE Fife are you?

Well, I'll be there anyway, if anyone else can make it then all the better. If not, at least I've had a good night in a decent hotel and I'll have a blat up to Rannoch or something by myself..

We can't do feckall about the weather (and it is January) so let's just see what happens.

Me and Fruitcake have binned it in favour of a drunken Friday night in Glencoe followed by some retail therapy in Glesgae.

Well some cnut has to bail oot the shoaps:rolleyes:
