First service - DONE!

Well done , out of interest how did you run it in.:thumb

Sort of how they said in the manual:D Through the revs, lots, no redline, but went over 5k quite a few times. Lots of engine braking. No motorway, apart from a 15 mile stint on a dual carriageway, even then I varied the revs.:beerjug:

And regular washes to get the nasty salt off:P:comfort:D

Slowly - he's had it for weeks and weeks :D

Oh, and did you get all your queries sorted?

I had a list of 12 small jobs, just personal adjustments, and they did them all apart from the heated grips :blast as "they are all shite":D and they couldn't change the bar to psi or Celsius to Fahrenheit for some reason.:nenau:blast

And I bought some of the fancy footpegs with the rubber that goes up and down:D

They lent me one of those nasty scooters for the day, and I have to say that I have absolutely no interest in ever riding one again:rob

Any info on your exhaust and did they change the date format?

Have they explained the alarm to you? I can't work out mine when I stop for fuel etc.

I am surprised You did not like it , I did the Launch and loved them . Not enough to trade my T Max but loved them especially the Sport 600

They lent me one of those "flying carpets" at my WC 's first service and after the first 5 miles and learning to steer with my arse I really liked it. The ride is sublime whatever the surface and it goes like f*ck!

It's a lot fatter than my Vespa GT200 in traffic, but that's the only drawback.

I'm actually thinking of buying one.

When I picked it up, the roads were wet, and there was a big diesel spill near the dealer, so I was probably over cautious. When I rode back in the afternoon, the roads we dry, so I could push it a bit more. I'm sure that after a couple of hours, I'd probably enjoy it more. But, its not my bag.:comfort
