First service

Its my first BMW so my knowledge of service practice is none.

I guess quite few of you done the 1-st service.

What is a cost ?

I will have crash bars fitted at the 1-st.
Do you know what BMW policy on this is ? Will they charge me more labor costs if I ordered bike with them but they weren't available at delivery.
I would like to wait for bars to be available but bike has just 400 miles for now and I am quite sure I can hear a valve ringing.
Anybody has that experience and should I get bike to them now?

I paid about £120 IIRC. If you ordered the bars with the bike, they'll fit them free of charge. Not had the valve issue you mention.

Sorry baja I got the first service thrown in the deal and my dealer has always put any extras on any bike for free that's the least they can do when your spending on bikes and servicing!

Mine was FOC either BMW or dealer covered cost as a sweetener for bike being delivered four weeks late.
