First service to be carried out between 500 - 1200km

I.e before 745miles

I haven't looked at the service manual, but as I left the dealer a week ago he said see you in 500-1000 miles. I was planning on settling on the usual 600 miles but I'll be looking for a few more by the looks of it.

I thought the days of the first service at 500 miles were long gone with today's technology ?
